Information about Kingdom:

The Celestial Kingdom lies upon snow white plains, encompassed by stars and a beautiful view of the heavens which illuminate the sky each night. Every full moon, vibrant colors dance across the sky, acting as the main attraction for the local festival. The large towers surrounding the king's castle appear to scrape the stars out of their place, setting the King as the new set "star" above all else. The peasants' farms lie near the outskirts of the town, giving the kingdom a more "humble" and "peaceful" look to it. The town center is normally busy with life. Filled with markets, travelers, small entertainment, important news, inns, music, and patrolling knights, the center is the place where most people spend their time.


Biography:

Kuro became the king under a case of mistaken identity. He was originally a messenger from a new developing kingdom, sent to bring news of a possible affiliation between the neighboring lands. Upon arrival, the Celestial Kingdom suffered from a series of civil wars, for the past king had died from the plague a year hence, leaving no heirs to the throne. Bearing the same red clan marks as the past king, the messenger was mistaken as a “lost son” of the late king, arriving to take back his father’s legacy. Seeing this as an opportunity offered to him by the stars themselves, Kuro acted along and took upon the title and position of King of the Celestial Kingdom.

Under the first few years of his rule, the kingdom managed to restore itself to its somewhat former glory. The internal warring had ceased, peasant revolts had become unheard of, peace was declared with neighboring lands, and gold was once more circulating within the land. All was good with the mistaken king. Kuro was greatly benevolent, trustworthy, and a man of the people. This peaceful rule continued on for some amount of time, but it wasn’t too long until the king began acting differently. Kuro’s mentality slowly began to crumble in front of everyone.

The mistaken wolf wasn’t born to fulfill the position of a king. The stress and power had gotten to him, manifesting itself in the forms of Schizophrenia and Paranoia within his mind. Delusions began to appear before his eyes, breaking down the fragile glass of sanity through the lies it fed him. The visions convinced the black furred wolf that his position was to be threatened by the peasants, that he was to be overthrown and forced into servitude by those lower class workers. Paranoid, Kuro took into obtaining more knights for his protection and began to limit the rights of those he deemed “lesser” than himself. Along with this, he began to impose taxes, only left the castle with his highest knight, and violated peace treaties by capturing smaller kingdoms in the surrounding lands.

The residents took note of the change and became worried from the lack of proper information. Soon, word spread about the kingdom raking up the idea that perhaps a possible war was on its borders. They believed that the king was over-stressed by failing to keep peace and used taxation to fund the “war”. Chaos spread throughout the land. Knights pocketed tax money, peasants started to keep their produce to themselves, trade with other lands began to fail, and the kingdom began to fall apart upon itself.

The stress on the king had finally gotten to him. The mistaken wolf had lost his sanity. He declared war against the peasants, sending knights to go out and kill them all. Fearing what may become of them if they disobeyed the order, the knights carried out the heinous task almost without hesitation. Blood of the innocent and defenseless stained the once peaceful land of the Celestial Kingdom while the newly dubbed tyrant laughed alongside the voices in his mind.

Peasants in neighboring kingdoms caught wind of the murderous acts and came together, forming a mass revolt against the tyrant. They bribed greedy knights to fight alongside them as the revolt marched towards the castle. King Kuro watched as they left a small trail of destruction in their wake. With paranoia setting in and fearing for his life, he fled from the castle, and witnessed as everything he once owned burned and crumbled into ashes. Tears made their way down his black furred cheeks as the wolf cursed the peasants and vowed to get his revenge against them. With still noble knights at his side, he took to another land that was conquered under his name. This “new” Celestial Kingdom took hold and grew back to a stable state.

The king, of course, forced his closest knights to handle the lands problems, keeping himself out of the peasants reach.
